We just wanted to drop a line to your company and extend our appreciation for the fine work you have done for us.
In June of this past year we made the decision to move and downsize as we had one daughter leaving for college and another one getting married all in one summer. We also have a younger daughter in grade school and felt that she would benefit from another school, as she has immensely already this year.
Dave Medendorp had been recommended to us so we called him and he met with us, with no pressure. At that time we were impressed with his insight and knowledge of the housing market and his no-nonsense approach. We tried for about 4 weeks to sell it ourselves and then decided to call Dave back. With the pressures of a wedding and graduation on our family and the extra financial drain we informed him that we wanted to stay under $70,000 and told him the area of town we wanted to live in. He informed us this was not going to be easy but after only 2 Sunday open houses and showing us only 3 homes he found us a 2 bedroom home in Roodmont, with the price under $70,000! The house was well taken care of and required only one room to be painted and we even found some great wooden floors as we removed carpet.
We feel we have an excellent investment as well as a lovely place to live that meets our needs. Frankly, the average citizen thinks of a Realtor as someone who cannot be trusted, and Dave has proved otherwise. Dave’s friendly personality and willingness to extend himself to help us, leads us to thank him and also recommend him to our friends in the future.
